AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE COLLEGE
AN INVITATION TO ATTEND THE 32nd AGM
This year the Federal AGM will be held in the West from 30th September to 2nd of October 2005. We, in Perth , are not alluring you to travel west, because it will be in season for the famous wild flowers of the west to be in full blossom. It is also not true that we are trying to further persuade you to come because we have organized a four hours cruise on the moon-lit Swan River by night, with a sumptuous dinner featuring an irresistible Hors D' Oeuvres and hot and cold selections, accompanied by unlimited bottled wine and beer, and with disc jockey to entertain you.
I found a sample essay, possibly better custom thesis,- research paper help.
It is, however, true that we are inviting you to come to listen to the “Aussie ways of doing Acupuncture,” which will be the theme of the Scientific Conference. You will be able to earn Group one points through your participation at the Round Table Conference. You will be able to earn Group two points by discovering what are the innovative Aussie ways of doing Acupuncture, as your colleagues present to you their experiences. How do we know the Aussie ways are different or innovative? Invitation is well advanced for Professor Thomas Lundeberg of Sweden to come to give lectures. Then there is, of course, the AGM, with election of office bearers. Conference Venue will be the Hyatt Hotel, at St. Georges Terrace. The room rate will be $195.00. Alternate hotel accommodations, with facilities suitable for families, and within walking distance from the Hyatt are being arranged. We advise early booking for accommodation.
Invitation to present papers. Whether you have works in progress, or whether you only have the seed of an idea which will grow into a paper for presentation, I would like to invite you to present a paper at the Scientific Conference, the them of which is “Doing Acupuncture the Aussie ways. And it works!” It is time to watch our talents blossom. It is heartening to know that many of our colleagues have made their marks at International Scientific Conferences for so many years. They start from local Scientific Forums like this one.
WE request that you submit a 250 word resume of your paper, as soon as you are ready, and in any case six weeks before the conference. Remember this needs not be your final version. Please submit your resume by e-mail to Dr. Weng Choon Hui at choonlan
More details about the AGM will be provided at the next Newsletter of the College.
Please mark the dates in your diary. See you in Perth !
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Kay Keng Khoo,
WA President & AGM Conference Convener.
